What this checker reviews

The checker looks for common packaging failure modes based on the answers you provide, including liquid containment, moisture protection, dry-ice handling, carton condition, labeling and stacking resilience. It does not replace product specifications, carrier acceptance checks or regulatory review.

Frequently asked questions

Does this confirm airline acceptance?

No. It identifies common planning gaps only. Final acceptance depends on the carrier, route, product, documentation and the condition of the shipment at tender.

Why does wet ice require leak protection?

Wet ice can melt during handling. If meltwater escapes, it can weaken cartons, affect other cargo and create an acceptance or safety concern.

Can I use dry ice for perishable cargo?

Dry ice may be suitable for some shipments, but it produces carbon dioxide and can require carrier-specific handling and documentation. Confirm the quantity, ventilation and applicable requirements before tender.

Should I send my packaging details to FTE?

Yes, especially when the checker identifies a high-risk item, you are shipping seafood or frozen cargo, or the shipment uses wet ice or dry ice. FTE can review the operational details before tender.

Planning guidance

These results support shipment planning and are not a guarantee of airline acceptance, customs clearance, or product condition. Carrier, origin, destination and regulatory requirements differ — confirm final requirements with FTE operations before tender.
